What people said about our Italy 2019 retreat
'Andy’s teaching and support provided me with a much-needed space to re-affirm what I wanted in my practice. I have come away from this week letting go of what hasn’t been serving me recently and with a renewed joy and freedom to practice in a way that nurtures and fulfills me' - Annabelle
'Practicing with Andy allowed me to access a part of myself that I had been struggling to rediscover. I felt safe and nurtured, able to shed some stresses, feel less burdened and connect with myself in a calm and non judgmental way.' Sam
I left the retreat feeling, for the first time in a long while, really excited about my practice and where I will go next with it. It was so great to work with you again Andy, and to be on the receiving end of some of your insightful, intelligent and game-changing teaching. Caroline

About Yogapulia - our home for the retreat
YogApulia is a brand new boutique retreat centre, created in a traditional Trulli house, exclusively for yoga and meditation practice. It has been set up by dedicated yoga practitioners Mark & Nicola. Their intention is to create an intimate space in tune with the natural rhythm of nature and incorporating principles of permaculture, where guests can escape from the demands of the modern world to deepen their practice in the beautiful, peaceful setting of the Valle d’Itria in Apulia, Italy.
They look to incorporate the fundamental principles of yoga into everything they do, including living sustainably with nature and the seasons and giving back to the community around them.
Accommodation & Facilities
The retreat centre is set in 2.5 acres of grounds in a valley filled with olive and almond groves.
Accommodation consists of seven twin/double bedrooms all with private ensuite bathrooms and AC for the hottest summer months. We are renovating all rooms to a high standard using locally sourced materials, and are aiming to create a luxurious yet simple and understated feel. A large outdoor courtyard will provide the main communal eating space, and several outdoor terraces offer a place to relax in the sun or the shade.
Situated at the heart of the complex, the swimming pool acts like a colourful meeting point – with the blue water combining with the green olive trees and the red soil.
The retreat centre has easy access from Bari and Brindisi airports. You can hire a car or the centre can organise single or group taxis.

The retreat centre is in a beautiful and historic part of Italy. It is surrounded by Trulli houses, Olive groves, and some stunningly beautiful historic Italian towns and villages such as Martina Franca and Alberobello. It is also close to the Adriatic and some beautiful beaches such as Polignano a Mare.
Historic Matera is just a couple of hours drive away and a must see! If you come why not book a few extra days to look around this stunning part of the world, sample the wine and wonderful food perhaps?
